Who needs pants when you have an oversized blazer? Not Hailey Bieber.
The model, and queen of the blazer look, took the trend to a whole new level when she stepped out solo in New York City yesterday. Bieber was seen leaving her hotel in nothing but a checkered wool blazer with a pair of sky-high leather platform sandals—both by Saint Laurent by Anthony Vaccarello.
She also wore Saint Laurent to this year's Met Gala: an ivory-colored halter-neck gown with a statement shawl.
On Tuesday, Bieber accessorized with teeny black sunglasses and wore her straight hair down. She opted for a natural makeup look ahead of the launch of her skincare brand, Rhode.
Bieber—who has become known for her calming TikToks detailing her skin care routine and her glazed-doughnut skin look—spoke to BAZAAR.com about her new venture, which debuts today (June 15).
"My ethos behind the brand is that we want to make one of everything," she said. "One really good moisturizer, one really good hydration serum, one really good lip product."
For now, she's launching with only three products: the Peptide Glazing Fluid, the Barrier Restore Cream, and the Peptide Lip Treatment. The vegan and mostly fragrance-free products are full of dermatologist-approved ingredients like peptides, niacinamide, and squalane, and are "completely focused on barrier health and hydration," per Bieber.
"I'm somebody who travels a lot. I wanted simplicity. But I want [the products] to work really well," she said. "I believe in curating your essentials in your closet the same way I believe in curating your essentials in your skincare."
Meanwhile, at home, her husband, Justin Bieber, has been dealing with health issues of his own. Last week, the "Peaches" singer announced in an Instagram video that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome and is suffering from partial, temporary face paralysis. Because of that, he has had to cancel various concerts and said he is focusing on resting and getting better.
The model showed her support for her husband by sharing his announcements on her own Instagram Story, along with the words, "I love you baby."
The pop star showed his support for his wife today, congratulating her on the launch of Rhode. "I am so proud of you baby. No one knows the long hours of care and passion that you have put into building a skincare brand that is truly to serve the people," he wrote in an Instagram post. "The most beautiful thing about you is your care to protect people with good ingredients that will help their skin to flourish like you did for me and my skin. PROUD IS AN UNDERSTATEMENT MY BEAUTIFUL GIRL! So many people are going to have beautiful Dewy skin because of your desire to give them access to the best! LOVE YOU SO MUCH."
